Hybrid Visible Light Communication (VLC) indoor wireless system for Location Based Services (LBS)

Abstract:

A Li-Fi communication system comprises a plurality of luminaires configured to transfer data through visible light and a controller in communication with the plurality of luminaires. The controller is configured to determine the plurality of luminaires providing real-time data transfer, identify a plurality of network topologies, receive a plurality of parameters related to the data transfer, and automatically select an optimal network topology among the plurality of network topologies based on the plurality of parameters. The controller processes the plurality of parameters using a supervised machine learning model to select the optimal network topology with optimal data transfer rates and low power consumption.
