🇲🇾 Selamat Menyambut Hari TVET Negara 2026!
Sempena sambutan Hari TVET Negara 2026 bertemakan “TVET, Pilihan Kerjaya Utama”, CREST terus komited dalam menyokong pembangunan bakat dan tenaga kerja berkemahiran tinggi bagi memenuhi keperluan industri masa hadapan.
Baru-baru ini, CREST telah menyertai sesi perbincangan strategik bersama MARA, UniKL Malaysian Spanish Institute (UniKL MSI), dan institusi TVET MARA bagi memperkukuh penyertaan Bumiputera dalam industri semikonduktor negara.
Antara fokus utama kerjasama ini ialah pembangunan Inisiatif Makmal Wide Bandgap (WBG) yang akan meningkatkan keupayaan teknikal negara dalam teknologi semikonduktor termaju, di samping menyediakan pendedahan praktikal kepada pelajar dan peserta TVET.
Kerjasama ini turut memberi tumpuan kepada:
Pembangunan bakat semikonduktor berkemahiran tinggi;
Program latihan berteraskan keperluan industri global;
Pengukuhan penyertaan PKS Bumiputera dalam rantaian bekalan semikonduktor; dan
Meningkatkan kebolehpasaran graduan TVET;
CREST percaya bahawa kolaborasi erat antara industri, akademia dan kerajaan merupakan kunci untuk melahirkan bakat masa depan serta memperkukuh kedudukan Malaysia dalam rantaian nilai semikonduktor global.

We recently facilitated a strategic engagement with Collaborative Research in Engineering Science & Technology bringing together industry leaders across healthcare, urban development, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing to explore collaboration opportunities in Sarawak. The visit, building on earlier engagements, included strategic discussions with Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.
The discussions centred on advancing collaboration in the semiconductor value chain, AI and digital technologies, agri-tech and sustainable industrial development. The delegates highlighted Sarawak's policy clarity, reliable energy and strong government commitment as key enablers for investment and innovation.
Together with government, industry and community stakeholders, we remain committed to fostering partnerships that will accelerate Sarawak's transformation into an inclusive, sustainable and innovation-driven economy.
