Printed ECG Sensor

Printed ECG Sensor

Printed ECG Sensor

Abstract:

The present invention relates to the electrodes/sensors used in Electrocardiography (ECG) techniques used for tracing the electrical heart signals of a patient/user. The present invention provides a new type of electrode made up of cotton fabric. The cotton fabrics are uniquely stacked in a vertical manner. One layer comprises of a fabricated cotton. The fabricated cotton is made by coating a normal cotton fabric with reduced graphene oxide coating. The present invention further provides a method of synthesizing the electrode for ECG. The electrode is more efficient, biocompatible, environment friendly and cheaper to make.
