Abstract:

The present invention relates to an insect monitoring and trapping system comprising an insect trap, a CPU-based system associated with the trap, one or more camera operatively connected to the CPU-based system, a computer program stored in the memory of the CPU-based system, the computer program being adapted to receive one or more image from the camera and store the image in memory, a Computer Vision analytics platform in operative communication with the CPU-based system, the module being adapted to identify an insect in the one or more image.
