Abstract:

Accordingly, embodiments herein disclose a stroke rehabilitation device comprising a first base supporting a horizontal table, and one or more motors operatively connected to the table. Further, the proposed device may include a second one or more motors fixedly connected to the top of the table, and an arm in the form of arod extending upwardly from at least one of the second one or more motors. The rod is to be connected to the at least one of the second one or more motors by means of one or more joints. In addition, the proposed device is preferably operatively connected to a computer system with a monitor where the computer system and monitor being adapted to present a therapeutic virtual gaming system corresponding with the actuation of the device.
