Kuala Lumpur

CREST realised the need for the E&E sector to enable growth and disrupt other emerging sectors, including healthcare, using local markets as the test bed to validate the innovation with the global market in mind.

CREST expanded its coverage in Kuala Lumpur to have proximity with key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Health and focus on revolutionising digital healthcare in Malaysia.

The CREST Digital Healthcare Cluster was formed by CREST to focus on the application of wearable embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT) and connected devices technology and the commercialization of healthcare products, solutions and services by the E&E industry.

Led by the industry, supported by academia and government, flexible wearables and connected devices utilising artificial intelligence and data analytics are poised to advance Malaysia’s healthcare industry, while opening up new opportunities globally.
